Turning Waste into Power — Scaling Organics-to-Energy Infrastructure
Challenge - Colony Energy Partners aimed to expand its innovative organics-to-energy platform by developing a large-scale landfill gas to renewable natural gas project in California. The project required significant capital, robust financial modeling, and a feasibility assessment aligned with USDA loan requirements and California’s stringent environmental and waste management regulations.
Our Role - QuantaVision conducted a comprehensive feasibility study tailored to USDA program eligibility, including detailed financial modeling, site analysis, feedstock assessments, and revenue forecasts.
Result - The feasibility study strengthened Colony Energy Partners’ USDA loan application and provided a strong foundation for investment and regulatory engagement. The project is now positioned as a critical component of California’s organic waste diversion strategy, delivering renewable energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting circular economy principles.
